Waiver Information

Acknowledgement of Risks:

I understand that participation in the Council Loggers Jubilee and its associated events,

contests, demonstrations, and activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited

to: serious bodily injury, cuts, bruises, fractures, and other physical injuries, equipment

failure or malfunction, contact with moving machinery, chainsaws, axes, saws, logs,

vehicles, and related equipment, falls, slips, and collisions, weather-related hazards,

and/or permanent disability or death. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks

associated with participation in the Council Loggers Jubilee.

Release and Waiver of Liability:

In consideration for being allowed to participate in the Council Loggers Jubilee, I hereby

release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Council Loggers Jubilee, its board

members, officers, volunteers, sponsors, event organizers, property owners, agents,

representatives, and affiliates from any claims, demands, actions, causes of action,

damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or related to my participation in the

event, including those resulting from ordinary negligence.

Participant Responsibilities:

I agree that: I am physically capable of participating in the events I enter. I will comply with

all event rules and safety requirements. I will use appropriate safety equipment as required

by event officials. I will immediately stop participation if directed by event officials or if I

believe conditions have become unsafe. I am responsible for my own equipment and

personal property.

Medical Authorization:

In the event of an emergency, I authorize event personnel to secure emergency medical

treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so. I understand that I am solely responsible for

any medical expenses incurred.
